The past two months has been a blur in the best way possible. From TrailCon to Western States, we've spent a lot of time in the mountains and on the trails meeting a ton of incredible people, launching new collaborations, and watching some unforgettable moments unfold on on the race course. Here's a quick look at what we've been up to.
TrailCon 2026
In June, we headed to TrailCon in Palisades Tahoe. It was great meeting so many of you, catching up with old friends, and talking all things trail running. Thanks to everyone who stopped by the booth, checked out our gear, or simply came over to say hello.
One of the highlights of the weekend was having Paulius speak on the Day 2 panel, The New Guard: How Independent Brands Are Changing the Game, moderated by Matt Sharkey alongside Floris Gierman (Path Projects) and Kyla Maher (Satisfy). It was a great conversation focused on sharing advice for people looking to start building in the industry.
We also had the chance to demo our new Performance Cooling Tee and Ice Bandana V2 throughout the weekend. It was awesome seeing people experience the cooling technology firsthand and hearing your feedback after trying it on. We can't wait to see it out on more trails this summer.

Western States 100
From TrailCon, we headed straight to Western States.
It was one of the most memorable races we've ever witnessed. We started the morning on the Escarpment, where it was unusually cold and windy. However, we were rewarded with an incredible sunrise as the runners came through.
We then headed to Dusty Corners watching runners trade warm layers for Ice Bandanas before heading into the heat of the canyons. After that we stopped by the Rucky Chucky river crossing, before booking it to the Auburn High School track for the finish.
Watching the race unfold was an unforgettable experience.
We were incredibly grateful to see both Vincent Bouillard and Jennifer Lichter, the 2026 Western States 100 men's and women's champions, wearing East Peak Ice Bandanas as they ran to historic course-record victories. Seeing our gear help athletes perform on one of the sport's biggest stages is something we'll never forget.
Before the race, we had the opportunity to work with Ryan Montgomery on a custom Ice Bandana for Suunto. It was inspiring to watch him put together an incredible race, finishing third overall and becoming the fastest American ever at Western States. Congratulations, Ryan!
Another highlight for us was seeing Jacob Banta race in the debut of our East Peak × Tantrums hydration vest collaboration, featuring an integrated Ice Bandana.
In addition to Suunto and Tantrums, we were also excited to create custom Ice Bandanas for our friends at Nike ACG, NeverSecond, and CORE, helping support their athletes throughout the day.

Aaron Kubala Wins Tahoe 200 With a New Course Record
A few weeks before Western States, another unforgettable performance unfolded at Tahoe.
East Peak athlete Aaron Kubala ran an incredible race to win the 2026 Tahoe 200, breaking the long-standing course record with a time of 48:09:30. He covered 200 miles and roughly 35,000 feet of climbing around Lake Tahoe in just over two days.
We were especially excited to see Aaron racing in our new Performance Cooling Tee throughout the event.
Congratulations, Aaron. We'll be cheering him on as he continues his quest to complete the Triple Crown of 200s this season.

As always, thanks for following along and supporting what we're building. Whether we met you at TrailCon, saw you out on the trails, or you're reading this from home, we're grateful you're part of the East Peak community.
See you out there,
Paulius & George
